Audrey will truly be missed by our family. We met Aurdry through my classmate Connie while at Ft Hays State. Audrey was at our home several times doing those early years in the 70's. She always said we were like sisters from another Mother. She had all brother and I also had brother on our farms. We have stayed friends all these years and we pray for her and the family.

To Dennis and the rest of Audrey's family, I wish I had some splendid words of insight or wisdom for you, but that is not something I can offer. Much of the time I spent with Audrey was, in fact, saying nothing at all. In silent meditation in our zen sangha was really how I came to know Audrey and Dennis, and later through involvement with the UUFT. You can learn a lot about someone by spending time together in silence as I did with Audrey for many years, as afterwards the words they speak ring with such great gravity. I have good memories of helping Audrey around the house when Dennis was on the road, and her kind, curious, creative, honest nature. She was a light to me, guiding me in my own journey, as I know she was to many. Ji jong bosal for Audrey, and kwan seum bosal for her beloved family, especially Dennis with whom I have shared the same sacred silence.

I became Facebook friends with Audrey after my mother died.
Audrey was a wonderful person, who enjoyed a good conversation. She was kind, creative and lovely.
She will be greatly missed.
