At the age of 77 years, Audrey Dianne Robbins Brunet, went home to be with her Heavenly Father in the early evening of November 20, 2024. She was the widow of Jimmy Brunet and the daughter of the late Emmitt C. and Audrey Mae Diggs Robbins. She is survived by one daughter and her husband, Regina and John Mathias of Chester; one son and his wife, Jim M. Brunet, Jr. (Kelly) of Catawba; four grandsons, Andrew, Jacob, Reed and Sawyer Brunet all of Catawba; three grand-daughters, Samantha M. Johnson (Devin) of Chester, Paige Byrd (Brian) of McBee, SC, and Anna-Taylor Mathias (fiancé Zack Taylor) of Chester; five great-grand-children, Lane, Blake, Luke, Bryce Johnson and Ellie Byrd; one sister, Joyce Miller (Larry) of York: several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brunet was preceded in death by one grand-daughter, McKenzie Mathias; siblings, Emmitt Coolidge Robbins, Jr., Kathy E. Ramsey, Judy R. Compton, Kenneth E. Robbins.
Mrs. Brunet attended Woodward Baptist Church, where on Sunday, November 24, the 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. visitation and the 4:00 p.m. Celebration of Life service will be held. Reverend Keith Hinson will officiate. The burial will be private in Evergreen Cemetery.
Her favorite bird was the hummingbird and her favorite succulent was cactus. Flowers are preferred however if one chooses to make a monetary remembrance please make it to Woodward Baptist Church, 1570 Ashford Road, Chester, SC 29706.
The family will be gathering at 567 Glenn Street and receiving friends there.
