Audrey Laguaite Bunch

Audrey Laguaite Bunch, a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, unexpectedly passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on December 17, 1947, to Claude and Lorraine McDonnell Laguaite.
Audrey and George raised four wonderful children in Slidell, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 56 years, George Henry Bunch, III, daughter, Theresa Ann Bunch, sisters Claudette Civelo and Doris Laguaite, brother Michael Laguaite, her parents Claude and Lorraine Laguaite and her precious dog, Marcus.
Audrey leaves behind to cherish her memories her children Bridget Warren (Craig), George Bunch, IV (Frances), and Sherry Bunch. She was the proud grandmother of Mark Bunch (Taylor), Norman J. Horton, Tristian Jones (Brandon), George Bunch V (Amber), Christian Nugent, Nicholas Warren (Kaitlyn), Olivia Warren, Emily Warren, and Nathan Warren and great-grandmother of Abigayle, Johnny Nugent, Madison Bunch, Meredith Bunch, Tate Bunch, Kyle Jones, Lydia Jones, Bryce Voisel and Theodore Bunch. She is also survived by two brothers, Allen Laguaite and David Laguaite.
Audrey enjoyed vacations, shopping, and eating out. She and her best friend, Ray Ann Huard, loved going on day trips to the casino or driving along the beach to find a place to eat.
Audrey was a kind person who enjoyed laughing but, most of all, she loved her family. Her presence will leave a lasting void, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, on Monday, January 13, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM. The burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
