Audrey M. Dykeman, 89 of Livingston, passed peacefully on March 27, 2026 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Rhinebeck on October 18, 1938. Audrey worked at the Adventist Retirement Home in Livingston for 10 years. She was known as Mimi to all of us and was a beautiful women who loved by all of her family. She was especially admired by her granddaughter Melissa Shadic and her son in law Raymond Harrison. She will be greatly missed but we take comfort knowing that she is reunited with Papa and together sitting on a bench in Lake George.
Audrey is survived by her three daughters, Diana Dykeman of Hudson, Joanne Harrison of Ancram and Theresa (Billy) Couse of Red Hook. Her seven grandchildren, Melissa (Dane) Shadic, Michelle (Todd) Pilkington, Michael (Tiffany) Boice, Cassandra Harrison, R.J. (Samantha) Harrison, Cassie & Billy Couse. In addition to 11 great-grandchildren, Victoria Edge, Rachel Brazie, Samantha & Carter Klima, Todd & Mallory Pilkington, Gage, Gavin & Grayson Boice, Gavin Wendover and Harper Harrison. As well as one great great grandson, Noah Wickman.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Cecil Dykeman who passed away on January 22, 2018, her only son Barry Dykeman, daughter, Susan Sorbo and her great great grandson Carson Wickman.
Graveside services will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 in Evergreen Cemetery. Pastor Jan Brooks will officiate.
