Audrey Jackson

Audrey Mae Jackson, 78, a native of New Orleans, La went peacefully to be with the Lord on December 22, 2022. Audrey was the eldest daughter of 14 children born to Julius Jackson Sr., and Edna Mae Jackson. Proceeded in death by her father Julius Jackson Sr., mother; Edna Mae Jackson, brothers; Calvin & Alvin Jackson, sister; Carolyn Jackson, and niece Shante' Herrera. Survived by her 3 children, Charles Taylor Jr (Chavela), Terrence Taylor Sr., (Rikki), and Shannon Taylor. Brothers; Melvin (Lisa), of Ponchatoula, William (Darlene) of California, Ronald (Katherine) of Houston, Anthony (Chandra) of Baton Rouge, and Julius Jr (Ann) of New Orleans. Sisters; Rose, Delores, Marilyn, and Brenda of New Orleans, La, Linda (Robert) of Houston Tx. Grandchildren; Charles III, Terren, Tia, Terrence Jr, Ti'Erra, and Tyrone Jr, great-grandchild; Corinthian Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and church family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Greater Bright Morning Star Baptist Church 4523 Dale St, New Orleans LA, 70126. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Apostle Dwayne Williams officiating. Interment will be at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Ave., Gretna, LA. 70056.
