Audrey B. Quaranta, a beloved figure in her community and a cherished family member, passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 90. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on November 11, 1935, Audrey dedicated her life to her family and her work as a Hair Salon Technician, where she brought joy and confidence to many through her craft.
Audrey was known for her kind and caring nature, earning the adoration of those around her. Her nurturing spirit and warmth fostered a loving home environment, and her legacy continues to live on through her family.
Audrey moved to Franklin Square in 1964 where she raised her family. She was a long time parishioner of St. Catherine’s of Sienna Parish, where she served as president of the Christian Mothers. In 1977, the family moved to Dix Hills and became members of St. Matthew RC Church, where her husband, Arnold, later began his ministry as a Deacon.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen A. Luechau, and her sons, Anthony A. Quaranta and Arnold T. Quaranta Jr. She was a devoted mother and an exceptional grandmother to eight grandchildren, and affectionately known as "Gigi" by her five great grandchildren. Together, they carry forward the values and love that Audrey instilled in them throughout their lives.
Audrey was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late Deacon Arnold T. Quaranta, with whom she shared a deep bond throughout their life together.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation services to be held at Mangano Family Funeral Home on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and again on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
