Janet Quaranta Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Farnelli Funeral Home - Williamstown on Jan. 24, 2026.
Janet M. Quaranta (nee Perice), age 91, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on January 21, 2026.

After a long and a wonderful life, lived on her own terms, the foundation of our family has moved on to the next adventure where she will be reunited with her beloved husband. A devoted church goer, Janet was the cornerstone of the family providing unwavering connection, support, and love. She devoted her life focusing on her family's well-being often times over the expense of her own. Janet enjoyed many careers in her long life, at times teaching dance and owning a clothing store, as well as working as a Marketing Manager.

She cherished her vacations in the Bahamas and trips to Atlantic City casinos with her husband. Being extremely active, even later in life, she loved family events and the opportunity to dance. A lifelong lover of Philadelphia sports, she was especially devoted to the Phillies and could always be counted on to cheer them on. However, her favorite past time was relaxing at the family shore house in Sea Isle City, often enjoying the bay view and a steady stream of visitors. Her hospitality was renowned, with an open home and a perpetually full table where guests never left hungry.

Beloved wife of the late Vincenzo A. Quaranta. Devoted mother of Vincent Quaranta (Victoria), Christopher Quaranta, Rocco Quaranta and Michael Quaranta. Dear grandmother of Jackie Whitby, Jennifer Baab, Rocco Anthony Quaranta, Vincent James Quaranta, Michael Paul Quaranta and Kenzie Canzanese. Loving great grandmother of Edwin and Hunter Baab.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, January 29th, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a service will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, Williamstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Janet's name to Our Lady of Peace Parish at www.parishgiving.org or by mail to 32 Carroll Ave, Williamstown, NJ 08094.
