Audrey W. Schilling

Audrey W. (Wilson) Schilling, 87, of Rocky Hill, formerly of Bristol and Burlington, widow of Marvin Schilling, died on Monday (January 26, 2026) at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain.

Audrey was born on August 21, 1938, in Hartford and was the oldest of seven children of the late Anthony and Eva (Sadonis) Wilson.

A longtime Bristol resident, she was raised in Bristol and was in the last graduating class of St. Anthony High School.

Audrey worked at Superior Electric and she enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing cards. Her most treasured memories were from gathering with family and friends.

Audrey is survived by four children: Carrie Tie of Terryville, Patricia Schilling of Unionville, Janet Mulcahy and her husband, Dan of Bristol and Kenneth Schilling and his wife, Kathy of Rocky Hill; five siblings: Elaine Vance, Joyce Wilson, Anthony Wilson and Denise Breault, all of Bristol and David Wilson of Florida; eight grandchildren: Alex and Patrick Tie, Kristen Williams (Andrew), Mark Dunnells, Meagan and Hannah Mulcahy, Brian Schilling (Angelia) and Eric Schilling (Cheyenne Gehle); four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother: Ronald Wilson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (February 3, 2026) at 9 AM from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol to St. Joseph Church, 33 Queen St., Bristol for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, 522 Terryville Ave., Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday between 5 and 7 PM.
