Audrey Sage Smith

Audrey Sage Smith, a vibrant spirit who brightened the lives she touched, was born on April 14, 2022, in Kingwood, Texas. With her joyful energy and infectious smile, Audrey embodied the essence of a true "daddy's girl," leaving indelible memories in the hearts of her loved ones.

On December 13, 2025, at the tender age of three, Audrey left this world too soon. Her departure has left a profound ache for all who knew and cherished her. Audrey's spirited personality was characterized by sassiness and spunk, a true testament to her lively character. She thrived outdoors, affectionately known as "dirt baby," relishing in the simple joys of playing outside and spending time with her loving family.

Audrey had a special bond with her sister, Riley Rose, as they joyfully engaged in playful wrestling matches. She also wrestled with her mommy too. Her adventurous spirit was fueled by the little pleasures in life, from sipping Kool-Aid to munching on snacks from her baggie, all of which painted a picture of her playful youth.

Audrey is survived by her devoted mother, Sarree Morrell; her sister Riley Rose, her maternal grandmother, Marisa Morrell and grandfather, Aaron Morrell, and her cherished maternal great-grandmothers, Kathleen Morrell and Mary Rucker. Her love radiated among her extended family, including Mimi Eva Creger, Papa Lee Ellingburg, her best friend "CJ," aunts and uncles Chloe Santos (and husband Erik), Kaiser Erne (and wife Emma), Abbi Creger, Jackson Ellingburg, and Cameron Thomas, as well as her cousin Beckey Duquette and her beloved love one, Hope "Hopey" Gilmore, and also survived by other loving relatives and a host of friends.

Audrey's father, William "Billy" Raymond Smith, predeceased her, leaving behind memories of a loving relationship that will forever remain in the hearts of her family. Though her time on earth was brief, Audrey has left a precious mark on all who knew her, resting now in the loving arms of Jesus.

A visitation will be held in honor of Audrey on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM at Neal Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and the incomprehensible joy she spread during her time with us. As we remember our bright star, we carry her spirit forward, embracing the love and laughter she brought into our lives.
