Audrey Southgate passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, with her family by her side.
Born in Indianapolis, she lived most of her life in Greenwood.
Audrey had a career at the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the insurance industry as a secretary. However, those that knew her best recognized that her most cherished roles were as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her proudest achievements were the relationships she built around her.
Audrey is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Steven; her daughters Angela Snodgrass (Mark) and Erica Troksa (Chris) and her grandchildren Alexandra and Elijah Snodgrass and Quinn and Dawson Troksa; Siblings Arthur Lawrence (Kathy) and Anita Randall (Johnny).
She is preceded in death by her parents Laddie and Ruth (Griffin) Lawrence.
Memorial visitation will be Friday, July 25th at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, from 12-2. Her memorial service will begin at 2 pm. Following her service, guests are welcome to join her family for a graveside burial followed by food and fellowship.
