Audrey E. Albright Stull, age 86, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024, at her home in Bowerston surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 15, 1938, at the family home in Bowerston, she was a daughter of the late Edward L. "Bud" Albright and Ruth E. Vankirk Albright. She worked for 35 years as a teacher's aide at the Harrison Co. MRDD in Cadiz.
Audrey was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church near Tappan Lake and the Scio Sportsman's Club. She and her husband Merle enjoyed camping with the Buckeye Trail Club. Merle would ride the trails on horseback while Audrey enjoyed cooking and spending time camping with her family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and was well known for her delicious homemade noodles and pies. She was also a veracious reader of books she loaned from the library; often reading a book a day. She enjoyed making knotty blankets and was a loyal fan of the Cleveland Guardian's and Cleveland Browns.
She married Merle L. Stull on July 19, 1955, and he preceded her in death on November 13, 2009. Also preceding her in death are brothers and sisters-in-law Gilbert "Gib" (Henrietta) Albright and Harry (Sylvia) Albright and a son-in-law Barry Barley.
Surviving are daughters Diane (John) Wallace of West Mansfield, Donna Jackson of Scio and Tammy Barley and companion Jeff Warner of Bowerston; a sister Connie (Rex) Felgenhauer of Scio; grandchildren Jonathan Wallace, Angie Kelley, Megan Anderson and Danielle Wallace; eight great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held Monday, October 28, 2024, at 2 pm. in Koch Funeral Home, Scio with Pastor Jerralynn Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Conotton Cemetery. Friends may call Monday two hours prior to the service, from 12-2 pm, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
