Audria Colleen "Audrey" Huy Viers

Audria Colleen "Audrey" Viers, 35, of North Vernon, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Born May 14, 1987, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Tammy (Hacker) Huy and the late David Huy Jr.
Audrey was a 2005 graduate of Jennings County High School and was a homemaker devoted to her son and family. She enjoyed being in the woods, writing poetry, arts and crafts, and volunteering at her son's elementary school.
She is survived by her partner, Caleb Woods of North Vernon; her son, James Viers of North Vernon; mother, Tammy Huy of North Vernon; stepfather, Steve Bowling of North Vernon; brothers, Joshua (Christen) Huy and Jeremy (Amber) Huy, both of Kentucky and Dustin Stroud of Madison; sisters, Heather Huy of North Vernon and Olivia (Andrew) Wyciskalla of Hanover; grandmother, Linda Huy of Mississippi and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandfather, David Huy Sr; and grandmother, Ruby Hacker.
A funeral service for Audrey will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. The visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. The burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
Memorials may be made in honor of Audrey through the funeral home for expenses or to the American Kidney Fund.
