Audry W. Hartzell

Audry W. Hartzell, 90, of Allentown, passed away on December 23, 2025 at the Devon House, Salisbury Twp. She was the wife of the late Harry A. Hartzell. Audry was a receptionist at Block Advisors in Allentown for 37 years until retiring. Prior to that, she was a Polarimeter Technician at the former Western Electric until leaving the workforce to raise her family. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Mary E. (Rader) Wolf. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church since its inception and was an active volunteer at the St. Thomas More School assisting in the library and the Family Center. Audry served for countless years and was elected as a Lehigh County Election Board Member, serving as Majority and Minority inspector over the years. She was a campaign leader for the United Way and the American Heart Association. Audry was a talented artist, passing on her skills to her daughter and granddaughter and was an active tennis player into her 70's and enjoyed working in her garden.

Survivors: Daughter: Dr. Maryann P. Hartzell-Sado of Allentown, Granddaughter: Alexis E. Sado of San Francisco, CA, and a Brother: Raymond J. Wolf of Columbus, GA.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 11 A.M. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 1040 Flexer Ave. Allentown. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in the Church. Arrangements by the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown. Condolences may be offered at: www.jsburkholder.com.
