With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of beloved baby August Allen Akright who entered this world on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 and spent precious hours being held by his mother before his passing.
Though August's time on earth was brief, he filled his family’s arms and hearts with a lifetime’s worth of love. His tiny presence brought an indescribable joy—one that will remain with them always. He was a gift, a light, and a reminder of how precious life is.
August is survived by his mother Gracelynn Olson, beloved siblings Amir and Isabella Akright, grandmother Sara Akright and aunt Emily Olson. He is being cuddled in heaven by his great-grandparents, Anthony and Jayne Akright.
The family welcomes prayers, love, and gentle remembrance during this time of deep grief.
