Beloved father of Donna (Dale) Eddy – Lopez, dear ex-husband of the late Gloria Padilla-Lopez, cherished brother of Gloria Garza, the late Lucy Sanchez, the late Josephine Zarate, the late Adolph Lopez and the late Dolores Soto, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Augie you will always be my younger brother. I have so many memories of us growing up together. You were always there for me as we grew up. I also have many fond memories of when Olivia and I visited you in Florida. You took us into your home and we had many laughs and good times. I will miss are phone calls and conversations we had where you would remind me that it was just you and me as the last Lopez´s. I love you and will think about you often until we see each other again in heaven. Love you sister, Gloria.

Yo Uncle,
I have so many fond memories of you. I enjoyed our banter with each other. I remember trying to BS you and you said don´t try to BS a BSer. I remember telling you how I couldn´t get into the Airforce and you told me that I should have tried for the army then I told you I enlisted into the Navy so you said great choice. You were a classy dresser. Loved the hats. I had great respect for you and even gave my sons middle name Augustine. I wished we could have spent more time together but will always cherish our family gatherings and Christmas parties. Your last words are dear to me. They hit home when you said to go and enjoy your life because time goes by so quickly. Love you and will miss you Uncle Augie.

Dear Uncle Augie you will be missed so much for the caring person that you were, and the support you and Aunt Gloria gave to me when I was a teenager, and the memories of all the family gatherings that we used to have which was the best part of growing up. in 1980, I met dear Uncle Augie soon after his nephew Bob and I got together. He was wearing a dashing straw hat and I thought "Wow. He's Gilbert Roland gorgeous!" He had a great sense of humor and boy could he make me laugh. We shall miss you, Cheryl
