Aurea was born in the beautiful small town of Utuado, Puerto Rico the oldest of 6 children. Married the love of her life Andres Hernandez Sr. for over 50 plus years. Aurea's son gave her two grandchildren Marie Esther and Angel Andres. Who she lived for. Aurea was a beloved sister, daughter, wife, exceptional mother and extraordinary grandmother. Her genuine and noble heart won the hearts of many family and friends. Above the wife, daughter, sister role she was seamstress, cook, and helpful neighbor. Aurea, lived for her son and grandchildren, nephews and nieces. From cooking on holidays to birthdays. Fixing a button to sew dresses, shirts, etc. Aurea was an exceptional mother; she lived to support and love Andy and all his endeavors. She helped raise many nieces and nephews. Aurea lived to be the aunt to teach to cook, support and raise them all. Her name had many roles, she would make sure she made everyone feel special. Dedicated, caring, supportive, hard working, as a mother she always made sure Andy had all he needed, as a grandmother she gave love to both grandchildren and always encouraged them to follow their dreams teaching them to be as independent and strong. Today we say goodbye to her physical remains, but cherish the memories, laughs, teachings, and all life lessons she gave. Aurea knew how to make everyone laugh and show the true meaning of strength in every aspect physical to emotional. We live to remember the noble and sincere heart she had for over 84 years here on earth and the blessing she is and will forever live in our hearts.
