Aurelia Peterson

Age 98 of Eagan passed away September 26, 2025.

Aurelia was a voracious reader, an avid Wordle player, an exceptional conversationalist, and a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She loved her church family and devoted much of her time to serving the church community. She and her husband were known for hosting wonderful dinner parties; together, they loved to cook and entertain at their home. Aurelia had a love of travel, learning, and sharing a meal with friends and family - especially when the meal was savored slowly and accompanied by gimlets and lively conversation. She was always game for a trip to the ice cream shop.

Aurelia was preceded in death by her devoted husband Loren, daughter Laurel, parents Michael and Margaret Lyons, brothers Michael Jr. and Marvin, and son-in-law Gary.

She is survived by daughter Kathy (Bill), 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be at St. George Antiochian Church, 1250 Oakdale Ave., West St. Paul, from 10 - 11 AM on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025. Funeral Liturgy to follow at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Aurelia's name may be made to St. George Antiochian Church.

Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
