In the tender embrace of eternity, Aurora Mejorado, a woman of grace and love, embarked on her celestial journey on Tuesday, September 18, 2023, at Mission Regional Medical Center in Mission, Texas. Aurora, a beacon of warmth and kindness, was born on June 10, 1946, in Hualahuises, N.L., Mexico, to the late Eloisa Alvares.
Her heart was a sanctuary of affection, profoundly dedicated to her children, Fernando Venegas (Maria), Maria Hinojosa (Manuel), Marlen Ayala, and Rodrigo Mireles (Martina), whom she cherished with unparalleled devotion. Aurora's love extended through generations, embracing ten adoring grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, their joy reflected her own.
Aurora was a soul deeply enamored with the art of dance and the joy of playing lotería. Her spirit danced to the rhythm of life, and her laughter was the melody that filled the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. In her family circle, she was renowned for her wit and humor, a constant source of joy and mirth.
Among her passions, a cherished one was nurturing her garden, a symphony of life and color. The hues of purple held a special place in her heart, a reflection of her love for nature's artistry.
She now reunites in eternity with her beloved husband, Raul Venegas, finding solace in the embrace of her parents, Eloisa Alvares and Abel Cavazos.
As we bid her earthly presence farewell, we invite you to join us in honoring Aurora Mejorado's beautiful journey. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a heartfelt rosary to be recited at 7 PM at Flores Funeral Home in Mission, Texas. In honor of her vibrant spirit, cremation will gracefully follow.
May we carry her love and laughter in our hearts, for she touched our lives with a radiance that will endure through the ages. The compassionate care of Flores Funeral Home of Mission ensures that we honor her memory with the love and respect she so abundantly bestowed upon us all.
