Aurora Villarreal (Plainview) Obituary
Aurora R. Villarreal 96 of Plainview passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Cemetery.
A rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the funeral home.
Aurora was born on July 22, 1928 in Alamo, Texas to Roman & Margarita (Garcia) Rodriguez. She married Felix Villarreal on June 18, 1946. He preceded her in death on March 24, 1988. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Felix Villarreal; her parents, Roman & Margarita Rodriguez; her son, Rodolfo "Roy" Villarreal; her brothers, Benito Rodriguez, Felipe Rodriguez, Albino Rodriguez and Oscar Manjarez; her sisters, Adela Hernandez, Anita Espinoza and Belen Lopez; her sons-in-law, Jesse Martinez and Robert Martinez; her great grandsons, Gary Garcia and Steven Martinez.
Mrs. Villarreal is survived by three daughters, Neli Martinez, Selma Martinez and Thelma Chapa & husband Tony; her daughter-in-law, Olga Villarreal; nine grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
