Austin Levi Baca (19 years old) passed away unexpectedly and surrounded by loved ones on January 31, 2026.
Austin was born in Denver, Colorado. He grew up in Aurora and Bennett, Colorado. He loved music, four wheeling, spending time with his family and friends, and helping others. Austin was very outgoing and loved making new friends. He loved going on new adventures.
When he was younger, Austin attended Aurora Frontier K-8. He attended Bennett High School Austin was an active member of FFA (Future Farmers of America) and participated in activities at the Denver Stock Show.
Austin graduated from Bennett High School in 2025 and was planning to attend welding school. He was looking forward to his future as a young adult filled with new adventures and experiences. And sharing these experiences in his relationship.
Austin was the victim of a hit and run driver on January 20, 2026. He passed away 11 days later in Aurora, Colorado at the age of 19 years old.
Austin is survived by his mother Rebecca Moore (Step father Roy Hinson), and father Michael Baca. Siblings Misty Powers, (William Ritchie) niece Annabelle Powers. Siblings Stacy Baca, Jake Baca, Estrella Baca, Chance Baca, and Haley Hinson. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Surviving grandmother Sandy Moore. (Rebecca Moore) Surviving Grandfather Orlando Vigil (Michael Baca)
Austin is reunited in heaven with his grandfather Daniel Moore (Rebecca Moore) and grandmother Shelly Espinoza (Michael Baca) and several other family members.
Services for Austin will be held on February 23, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Northglenn Christian Church

Austin was my little buddy across the street since he was just a little guy when Austin and his mother Rebecca moved across the street from me, he definitely had many shenanigans. He would pull on all his neighbors. We would sit on my front step and talk for hours where he joined myself and my granddaughters for a walks in the neighborhood. If I was raking the leaves in the front yard, he would come and help me beg them. He was always willing to help me do things when Austin and his mother moved to Bennett. He still would come over to that house with his grandma, he made it a point to come visit me. I will definitely miss his visits Rebecca I can´t even fathom the pain you´re going through and I´m so sorry you have to go through this. You are always in my prayer. Praying for all of you, Dorothy your neighbor.
