Dear Bush family, Austin was one of my best friends here in Kerrville. I consider myself blessed to have been given the chance to know him and have my life been graced by his presence. He and I were very good friends. He was one person who always had my back and that I trusted and vise versa. Today is a sad day for us all as it marks the one week passing of his death. I have thought about him all day as I have everyday this past week. I miss him terribly. This town feels lonely to me without him in it. Austin was an amazing man. Smart and funny , helpful and wise. He was good to have around if anything was broken! He was like my big brother I never had. Im truly sorry for your great and untimely loss. We all lost something when he left us. I have his sweet kitten he loved so much. Im taking good care of her and giving her lots of love. I really named her Austin. In my mind it's like having a little piece of him with me. God bless you. Tonya.

I never had the privilege of meeting him but I heard many kind and funny stories about him from his mom. So sorry the Bush family is experiencing such a great loss.

Austin was a wonderful friend. She he got out in 2017, I met Austin. It felt like I've known him my whole life because he was so caring and non judgmental. It was easy to help him because you could tell he was grateful and also was getting himself together. He was on a great road. He would talk to me everyday and send me pictures. I even drove 5 hours to go see him. He was loved by many. I'll miss Austin everyday.
