Austin Bush Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 23, 2018.
Austin Miles Bush, (37) from Dallas, Texas, passed away on Friday, 2/23/18 in Kerrville, Texas. He was loved by many and will be missed terribly. Austin is survived by his parents, David (68) & Patricia Bush (68), a brother Travis Bush (47), three sisters, Shelley Parker-Torres (50), Libby Bush Carleton (42) and Geneva Bush (30), a nephew Marcus Bush (19), and five nieces Claire Bush (20), Piper Bush (19), Nyah Carswell (15), Maren Carswell (13), and Emma Carswell (7). Austin had many friends and was always a helper. If his loved ones and friends needed him, he was there. He was compassionate, empathetic, and had a huge heart. He worked hard, enjoyed being outdoors, relished great food, and really loved his cats. He had a natural charisma when it came to customer service. His most recent profession was as a Lead Server & Bartender at Popo's Restaurant @ Pampell's Corner in Kerrville, Texas. He adored that work and got a great deal of enjoyment from serving others. This was his legacy: Service to Others. His life was cut short, but he will never be forgotten. His pain has ended and his memory will be cherished. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to assist with covering the cost of the arrangements needed for concluding his pressing personal matters and his funeral/cremation expenses. You may make donations at www.youcaring.com/austinmilesbush. Remaining funds after his arrangements are completed will go toward college expenses for his nieces and nephew. This will be a fitting gift from his memory to the children he loved.

Dear Bush family, Austin was one of my best friends here in Kerrville. I consider myself blessed to have been given the chance to know him and have my life been graced by his presence. He and I were very good friends. He was one person who always had my back and that I trusted and vise versa. Today is a sad day for us all as it marks the one week passing of his death. I have thought about him all day as I have everyday this past week. I miss him terribly. This town feels lonely to me without him in it. Austin was an amazing man. Smart and funny , helpful and wise. He was good to have around if anything was broken! He was like my big brother I never had. Im truly sorry for your great and untimely loss. We all lost something when he left us. I have his sweet kitten he loved so much. Im taking good care of her and giving her lots of love. I really named her Austin. In my mind it's like having a little piece of him with me. God bless you. Tonya.

Austin was a wonderful friend. She he got out in 2017, I met Austin. It felt like I've known him my whole life because he was so caring and non judgmental. It was easy to help him because you could tell he was grateful and also was getting himself together. He was on a great road. He would talk to me everyday and send me pictures. I even drove 5 hours to go see him. He was loved by many. I'll miss Austin everyday.
