Austin Christensen

Austin Lee Christensen was born December 28, 2005 in Selmer, TN the son of Shawn Lee Christensen and Teresa Spell Christensen. He departed this life on January 12, 2024 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 18 Years, 15 Days.
 
Austin was a McNairy Central High School graduate and had set his sights on furthering his education to obtain his electrician license. He was currently working alongside his father in drywall hanging and finishing. He enjoyed fishing and hanging out with friends.
 
Austin was known for his kind-hearted nature and genuine generosity towards others. His family and friends were an integral part of his life, and he cherished every moment spent laughing, conversing, and creating memories together.
 
He is survived by his father, Shawn Christensen and wife Shelia of Adamsville, TN; mother, Teresa Christensen of Pinson, TN; sister, Katlynn Christensen, and nephew, Waylon Travis Tidwell, both of Adamsville, TN; grandfather, Miguel Garcia, and uncle, Miguel B. Garcia of Adamsville, TN; half siblings: Heather Lynn Smith, Dustin Craig Joseph, Cody Lee Christensen and wife Blaze Miller, and Andy Christensen all of Naples, FL; uncle and aunt, Dave and Gloria Johnston of Naples, FL; uncle, Scott Collins; stepmother, Kristen Burgess and stepbrother, Zach Burgess; and a host of other relatives and friends.
 
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Anette Garcia.
