In Loving Memory of Nannie Mae Hollingsworth Johnson

February 25, 1937 – March 14, 2026

Nannie Mae Hollingsworth Johnson, 89, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away peacefully on aturday, March 14, 2026, in Poplar Bluff. Born on February 25, 1937, in Adamsville, Tennessee, to Nannie Barham Hollingsworth and Jim Hollingsworth, Nannie Mae lived a life rooted in faith, family, and love. She was united in marriage to Osker Dale "Bud" Johnson on December 7, 1954, in Fulton, Mississippi. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised four children: Tommy, Timothy, Tammy, and Toni.

A devoted member of the First Assembly of God Church in Portageville, Missouri, Nannie Mae was known for her steadfast faith, her warm heart, and her dedication to her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bud Johnson (2009), sons Tommy Johnson and Timothy Johnson, grandchildren Terri Sue Hollingshead and Nick Whitley, sisters Ina Hollingsworth Lambert, Dorothy Hollingsworth, Ima Jean Petit, and brother Tommy Hollingsworth.

She is survived by her daughters Tammy (Sam) Powell and Toni D. Johnson, both of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; her brother Neely Hollingsworth of Eads, Tennessee; six grandchildren Crystal (Brad) Toombs, James (Charlotte) Johnson, Ashley Whitley, Jenna (Ronnie) Voight, Levi Johnson, and Timothy Powell; great-grandchildren Caleb Johnson, Madison Johnson, Haleigh Toombs, Lexi Sanders, Levi Powell and Emerald Powell; and great-great-grandchildren Xander Johnson, Lakelyn Ravenscraft, Crue Johnson, Makayla Voight, Creedance Johnson, Harper Sanders. Lyric Voight & Ellie Sanders.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 16, 2026, at 12:00 noon at DeLisle Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at DeLisle Funeral Home, with Rev. Eugene Poole officiating. Interment will be at Portageville Cemetery.

Nannie Mae's life was a testament to love, faith, and family - a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
