Austin Donley Obituary
Austin Dale Donley
Austin Dale Donley, 87 years, 3 months, and 3 days old, passed away on, March 29, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in the Emergency Room from a sudden illness with his family by his side.
Austin was born December 26, 1938, in Elizabeth, Arkansas to Frank and Nellie (Byam) Donley.
He was a Army veteran and served honorably.
On May 29, 1964, Austin and Glenda Farel were united in marriage in Salem, Arkansas.
Throughout his life, Austin’s perseverance and hard work were evident in the thriving farm he nurtured, a legacy built upon the values of diligence and stewardship. His passion for farming was matched by his deep love for his family.
Austin was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rhonda Donley; brothers, Eldon, Willis, Forrest, and Wayne Donley; and sister, Edith Smith.
Austin is survived by his wife, Glenda; two children, Greg Donley and Melissa and Laryme Campbell; grandchildren, Shelby and Aaron Box, Carter and Hannah Campbell, Triton Campbell, Brandon and Olivia Guengerich, Emily and Cody Whitaker, Jake Donley; great-grandchildren, Aubree Box, Kohen Box, and Lee Whitaker; sister, Marjorie Graham; sister-in-law, Lyndell Strong; and extended family and friends.
Funeral services for Austin will be Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, Missouri. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 PM to service time. Burial will be in the Thornfield Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Hall. Memorials may be made to Thornfield Cemetery or Thornfield School.
