Barbara Johnson Obituary
Born in Hanover, Germany on January 4, 1933, Barbara was the daughter of the late Karl and Edith (Berger) Ehrenberg. She met Richard Vineski while he was serving in Germany in the US military, and immigrated with him to New York in 1955 where they were married until he predeceased her. She then married Bruce Johnson in 1977. They retired together on Pine Island, Florida in 1993 where they spent over 27 years until he predeceased her.
She enjoyed the time she spent in Florida, where she played Bingo and gambled with her friends. She also enjoyed swimming and was a pet lover.
Barbara is survived by her children, Michael Vineski and his wife Valerie of Hillsboro, KS, Patsy Vineski of South Colton, NY, Shelley Weaver of Liberty Hill, TX, Karen Flynn and her husband Michael of Wappingers Falls, NY, and Daniel Vineski and his wife Debbie of Ava, MO; her grandchildren, John Vineski, Rose Vineski, Dustin Blake, Joshua Wright, Jeremiah Wright, Tanya Sheldon, Jason Safran, Samantha Vineski, and Christopher Vineski; and over 20 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Valley View Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation for their amazing care and compassion over the last 2.5 years.
