Austin Gordon Obituary

Austin Trey Atticus Gordon, 30, of Abbeville, passed away on September 22, 2025.

Born in Greenwood, SC, he was the son of Crystal Roton Gordon (Glenn), and Chris Gordon. He had a passion for making music and could often be found singing and playing his guitar. Austin also enjoyed working outdoors and found joy in woodworking, a hobby that allowed him to express his creativity and love for nature. Above all, he adored being a father. His son was the light of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with his family.

Along with his parents, Austin is survived by son, Houston Gordon; step daughter, Rylan Stone; brother, Shaun "Hunter" Gordon; half brother, Dalton Gordon; grandmother "Nana", Cleo Roton; grandmother, Rose Marie Blanton; uncle, Ray Roton (Amanda); aunt, Jennifer Perdue (Adam); a special great-aunt, Mitzy Owens; and numerous other great-aunts and cousins.

Austin is preceded in death by grandfathers, Tony Roton, Wilton Atticus Gordon and David R. Blanton.

A memorial service was held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel. The family received friends before the service at 1:00 PM.

The family will be at the home of Cleo Roton, 114 Mathew Heights Rd, Greenwood, SC 29646.
