Austin Michael Robinson, 14, of Waggoner, passed away on September 12, 2022 at 4:08am at Cardinal Glennon in St. Louis, MO. Austin was born on January 29, 2008 in Springfield, IL the son of Kevin Thomas Robinson and Amber Nicole Harter. Austin was a Freshman at Lincolnwood High School.. Austin loved his Family and was a caring and loving person, his favorite past-times included learning new things working out/Physical Fitness, he was working on his Yellow Belt in Karate at Springfield Karate and Fitness. He enjoyed the Arts and drawing animations and hoped one day to be a comic book artist he had planned on joining the Art Club and Drama Club at school. His future plans were to join the Military after his graduation He was a member of the Waggoner Christian Church in Waggoner and had attended Camp Mac Christian camp in Carlinville during the summer. Austin is survived by; his Mom and Dad, brother Caleb, his grandparents, Mark and Tamela Robinson and Constance Belanger, Great Grandma Margie Kern and Joan Boehler, Also surviving are his Aunts Calene (Austin ) Slightom and Beth (Mike) Schoenherr Uncle JR Harter, Aunt Jackie Robinson and Uncle Alexander Belanger; Austin enjoyed being with his cousins Harper Slightom Sarah (Jacob) Fixsal and George Schoenherr and Eva Schoenherr.and many other Aunts, Uncles and Cousins
A candle light vigil will assemble at 6:30 Sunday evening September 18th at the main entrance of the Lincolnwood High School,. A Visitation will be held 4-7 on Wednesday September 21st at Pleasant Hill Christian Church near Raymond with a funeral service held at 7:00pm, Pastor Paul Jones officiating. Burial will in Macoupin Creek near farmers. Pallbearers are Austin Slightom, Garrett Slightom, Dayne Merkel, Devin Jenkins, Jacob Fixsal, George Schoenherr Caleb Robinson and JR Harter Memorials may be made to the Austin Robinson Memorial Fund at the Bank and Trust Co in Raymond Online condolences can be made at www.houghfuneralhome.com. The family is being assisted by Hough Funeral Home, 512 E. Broad St Raymond, IL 62560, (217) 229-4219.
