Austin Tallent Obituary
Austin Bradley Tallent, age 28, of Cherryville, died Wednesday, June 26, 2024. He was born July 28, 1995 in Cleveland County to Wanda Reneé Tallent Thomas. Austin was a 2013 graduate of Burns High School. He attended Westview Baptist Church and was a member of Knights of Pythias. He loved to draw and enjoyed baseball. Austin also enjoyed going fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Reneé and Danny Thomas; sons, Brantley Yates and Alton Tallent; daughter on the way, Trinity; brothers, Randy Lovelace Jr. (Catherine) and Brent Lovelace (Kara); sister, Kayla Brakefield (Blake Young); grandparents, Butch and Kay Gantt; nephews, Cohen and Lincoln Lovelace; niece, McKenna Young; uncle, Kevin Tallent; and great aunt, Betty Reynolds.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Tallent; great-grandparents, Junior and Betty Byers; great uncle, Roger Jennings Byers; and great aunts, Linda Seagle and Carolyn Frances Byers.
A Celebration of Life of will be held at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Westview Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Rudisill officiating.
