Autumn Krystene Williams peacefully passed away in her parents' arms, and surrounded by her loved ones, at Dallas Children's Medical Center on March 2, 2026.
Autumn was born with Spina Bifida on September 22, 2008 at Baylor Medical Center in
Dallas, TX. She spent the first 4 months of her life at Dallas Children's and Baylor Children's House before arriving home in
Midland, TX. In 2010, Autumn and her family relocated to
Rockwall, TX where she touched the lives of countless doctors, nurses, family members, friends, therapists and teachers with her strong, sassy personality and resiliency.
Autumn was a truly special girl who fought her way through over 35 surgeries and numerous medical procedures. She found creative ways to wrap her loved ones around her finger and make her voice heard without words. She enjoyed watching her favorite cartoons; Mickey Mouse, Daniel Tiger, Elmo, Boz, Wonder Pets and Peppa Pig in multiple languages on her tablet and having her parents, siblings and nurses recite her favorite parts.
Autumn's presence taught her family and those around her the meaning of sacrifice, strength, and God's unconditional and unwavering love. She is survived by her loving parents, James and Lacy Williams, her sister, Madison Molloy, her brothers, Gage and Noah Williams; her grandparents, Dean and Johnnie Reed, and Gary and Patricia Williams, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Though their hearts ache with loss, they are grateful for the precious time God granted them with her. They take comfort in knowing that Autumn is now healed and free in heaven and look forward to one day being reunited with her for eternity.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who supported Autumn throughout her journey. Special thanks go to the medical staff of Dallas Children's Health and Medical Center, Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, Entrusted Pediatric Home Health, and Dallas Life Support, Dr. Chinn of Lake Ray Hubbard Pediatrics, her in-home nurses, Stachia and Shasta, Midland and Rockwall Police Departments and the Special Education staff of Rockwall ISD.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made in Autumn's memory to Wish with Wings in Fort Worth, Texas, or Give the Kids the World Village in Orlando, Florida. They both gave Autumn and her family a once in a lifetime trip to Disney World, Universal, and Sea World making unforgettable memories her family will forever cherish in their hearts, and wish to pay it forward to other families.
