Avery Sullivan, a beloved child of Desiree Sullivan and Kevin Bell-Grady, was called home to be with the Lord on June 7, 2025, at the age of 14, in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was taken from us far too soon due to a sudden accident that has left our hearts broken.

Born on January 4, 2011 in Sullivan, Indiana, Avery was a precious gift from God who brought immeasurable joy and light into the lives of all who truly knew her. With a bright smile, contagious laugh, curious mind, and a heart full of love, she touched many lives in her precious time here. Though Avery’s time with us was far too short, we find peace in knowing that she is now in the loving arms of Jesus.

Avery loved softball, swimming, listening to music, and spending time with her friends and family. She also took pride in her hair and lash care routine never going without her lip-gloss. She had a tough shell to crack but once she opened up it was impossible to not care about her and her beautiful soul.

Avery is survived by her parents Desiree Sullivan and Kevin Bell-Grady, her siblings Mekhai Smith, Asher Sullivan, and Eliana Booher, her grandparents Kimberly Griffith and David Sullivan, her aunts Hannah Sullivan and Nevaeh Dyer, as well as many-many family members, friends, and teammates who deeply loved her. She was preceded in death by her Uncle Keith Sullivan, and her Great Grandpa Robert Sullivan.

A memorial service to celebrate Avery’s life will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025. The viewing will start at 12:00 P.M followed by services at 2:00 P.M. at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN. A celebration of life will be at Cross Tabernacle Church following services. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend.

We mourn with great sorrow, but not without hope—for we trust in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. As Scripture says, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14).
