Awilda Quiñones Obituary
Born on November 25, 1937, in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico, Awilda was the beloved daughter of the late Rudolfo & Guadalupe Ramos. She grew into a woman defined by compassion, gentleness & an unshakable faith. Her kindness radiated through everything she did. Her home was a haven filled with love, laughter, and a radiant smile.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Gumersindo Quiñones Sr. Together they created a beautiful family which consisted of their daughter, Iris Quiñones (Michael Gardner), their sons Gumersindo Quiñones Jr. (Heather Quinones), Calixto Quiñones Sr. (Suzy Quinones) & predeceased by her two sons Melvin Quiñones & Ramoncito Quiñones Sr. She was a beloved Nana to 14 grandchildren & 24 great-grandchildren.
Services: A viewing will be held from 3-5 PM Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 PM Monday, December 22, 2025 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 336 N. 4th Street, Allentown. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown. www.BKRFH.com
