Aye Yin

Aye Yin, born on January 1, 1942, in Burma, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, at the age of 84. A devoted homemaker, she dedicated her life to nurturing her family and creating a warm and loving home.

Aye Yin had a deep love for nature, often finding solace in gardening and fishing. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she found great joy in reading the Bible. She was an active member of Zion Karen Baptist Church and embraced her faith wholeheartedly as a member of the Baptist community.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Shwe Mann and Naw Paey; her husband, Hai Dary, whom she married in Burma; her cherished daughter, Htee Mooky; her sisters, Quay Baw, Moo Doo, Mu Baw, and Dah Maw; and her brother, Kwah Poe.

Aye Yin is survived by her sister, My Thy, and her children, Po Htoo, Poe Por, Paw Moo, Moo Bly, Hsa Nyaw, and Kwe Nyaw, who will continue to honor her legacy of love and kindness.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Aye Yin on Friday evening after 4 p.m. at Riverside Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Riverside Baptist Church, located at 1568 E. Harden St., Graham, NC 27253. The family will receive guests from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. prior to the service. Following the service, Aye Yin will be laid to rest at Graham Memorial Park.

Aye Yin's gentle spirit and unwavering faith touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by her family, friends, and community.
