Through her work and online presence Ayesha continues to inspire me to show up boldly in the world. To show up boldly for myself, for my community and to do it all with grace and kindness. Such a treasure. Truly made the world a better place.

Ayesha, you are Black Girl Excellence. Your eloquent voice and classy demeanor. You explemfy Black feminism, beauty , and intellect. I had the pleasure of witnessing your brilliance on the Grapevine. I look forward to watching your legacy continue to impact generations to come. Love you my sista. Take your seat as an ancestor and rest well beloved. May God continue to lift up your family during this difficult time.

Ayesha, thank you for all that you´ve done to inspire young girls and women to strive to be their best selves. I´ve never met you in person, but your positive and uplifting messages about self discovery and self love will always stick with me. Sending my condolences and love to her close friends and family.

Dearest Ayesha, I am in total shock at hearing the news of your untimely passing. You are an inspiration to so many women. Your presence has left a positive impact in this world and your absence leaves a huge void in our hearts. We miss you, we love you, and we will always remember you. Rest in Peace.

She was a light for others, even as a youngster as I remember her as her school nurse. Ayesha´s light continues to shine.

My condolences to Ayesha's family and friends. This woman was the epitome of class and grace. Such a beautiful soul and spirit. I never got the chance to meet her. Like many others I was introduced to Ayesha through the Grapevine. She was such an influence and a role model to me. Please again accept my condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My sincere condolences to this beautiful young woman's family. I remember this bright, beautiful, and enlightening spirit as a middle school...she was always seeking a way to bring about righteous equality to her fellow black and brown peers. My heart grieves for her family and friends. However, I know God was ready and waiting to receive her in His Mighty hands as she entered into His presence.
