Aza Russell Wayne Johnson, 6 months of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on June 28, 2024. Aza Russel Wayne Johnson was born to his parents Alicia and Russell Johnson. Aza was born in Jacksonville, FL, but his roots run through Pass Christian, MS and Baton Rouge, LA.
Aza was a smart, bubbly, and loving child. He was a daddy's baby with his first word being "da da." He loved to snuggle and get all the love he could, especially kisses from his mommy and big sister. Nibbling on chins and pulling beards had come to be things that brought him joy. Aza loved going to daycare, where Ms. Karen treated him like her own.
Aza is preceded in death by his grandfather Russell Hayes.
Aza is survived by his mother Alicia King Johnson and father Russell Johnson; his sister RaZiya Johnson; his grandparents Gloria E. King, Vernon Harrison, and Leontine Johnson; his great grandmother LouVerta K. Adams; and a host of other family and friends

To our little angel in the sky
June 28, we had to kiss you goodbye
We didn't want to let you go
But you made us better people, we want you to know
Because of you there is nothing we're scared to do
So, our beautiful baby boy
Every sunset will always be for you
Love,
Mom and Dad
