Mrs. Azucena Coto Portillo

Mrs. Azucena Coto Portillo, age 44, a resident of Foreman, Arkansas, passed from this life on Sunday, October 12, 2025, in Christus St. Michael Hospital, Texarkana, Texas.

She was born in Dulce Nombre de Maria, Chanlatenango, El Salvador on July 22, 1981, and married Noe Rios Garcia in De Queen, Arkansas on September 12, 2016. She was a Baptist and loved sunflowers, cooking, working, gardening, and especially the time spent with family.

Azucena leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Noe Garcia of Foreman; her daughter, Dayana Coto of Foreman; her father, Joaquin Coto of El Salvador; her mother, Irma Azucena Clavel of El Salvador; her sister, Mary Coto Portillo and her husband, Roberto of Kansas City, Missouri; three brothers, Milton Coto of Arkansas, Cornelio Coto and Joaquin Coto, both of Little Rock, Arkansas, one niece, Ashley Portillo of Kansas City; one nephew, Lian Portillo of Kansas City; as well as other nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Azucena Coto Portillo will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 17, 2025, in the First Baptist Church of De Queen, Arkansas, with Bro. Horatio Sotelo officiating. Burial will follow in Gravelly Cemetery, Foreman, Arkansas, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel. You may send an online condolence at www.chandlerfuneral.com.
