Mrs. Patsy Lee Taylor Melson, age 62, a resident of Provo, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born to Obie and Lorena Peck Taylor in De Queen, Arkansas on April 11, 1963. She married David Melson in De Queen, Arkansas on July 4, 1992. She was a homemaker, a Baptist, and enjoyed traveling, reading, but most of all, enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents and four of her siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 33 years, David Melson of Provo; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amber Curry and Jason Varner of Dayton, Tennessee, Jade and Jamie Tipton of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren, Ashlynne, Andrew, Chase, Cole, Jazzlyn, Brock, Ryne, Teagan, and Kanon; her father and mother-in-law, Otis and Dorothy Melson of Dierks, brother, sister, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Graveside funeral Services for Mrs. Patsy Melson will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 2, 2025, in the Horatio Cemetery, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel.
