Mr. Baccuhus Holland Carver, 54, of Lillington passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at his home. He was born on November 10, 1969, in Kingstree, SC the son of the late Thomas Carver and Shirley Pulley Bullard. In addition to his father, Baccuhus was preceded in death by his aunt, Anna Barbour and furry friend, Fred.
Baccuhus was a graduate of South View High School in Hope Mills, Campbell University, and the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. He enjoyed the outdoors, including hiking, fishing, and canoeing. Baccuhus was an avid movie enthusiast who could quote a movie line from many years past. He was passionate about helping animals and people, including Molly Ringworm, the stray he adopted 9 years ago. Baccuhus was loved and respected by his colleagues in the legal profession.
Baccuhus is survived by his mother, Shirley Bullard; aunts, Lena Giffe and Yvonne Lambert; cousins, Joy Wilson, Michael Giffe, Billy Giffe and Richard Giffe.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM Saturday, April 13, 2024, at O'Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Barrett Payne officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Lillington.
Memorials may be made to Harnett Co. Animal Control, 1100 McKay Place, Lillington, NC 27546 or the charity of one's choice.

I met Baccuhus the first semester of his freshman year at Campbell. I ended up being his big brother even though I was the one that looked up to him.
