Baldemar Rodriguez Sr., age 92, of Houston, Texas, passed away on April 30, 2024. He was born in Bustamante, N.L. Mexico, to the late Jose Rodriguez and Trinidad Lizcano Rodriguez.
Baldemar grew up following his father's footsteps as a farmer in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, where he met his late wife Elva Morua Rodriguez and started a family. In pursuit of a better life and opportunities, he made the courageous decision to uproot his family and move to the United States.

Survivors include his daughters Maria Catalina Rodriguez Sotelo and Elvia Rodriguez Trevino, his sons Jesus Valdemar Rodriguez Sotelo and Guadalupe Baldemar Rodriguez Jr., and his sister San Juana Rodriguez.
Baldemar was passionate about adopting rescue pets, mowing lawns, and providing for his family.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family encourages donations to adopt a pet, attend an artistic performance, and/or fund a young person's artistic lessons or education. https://barriodogs.org https://www.alleytheatre.org https://www.magnoliaparkarts.org
