Bann Ma, 84, left this world on January 2, 2026. He passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family in Port St. Lucie, FL. Bann loved teaching kids and was a teacher in his home country of Cambodia. He came to America in the early 1980s with his wife and their young daughters after surviving the Khmer Rouge communist rule.
Bann was a wonderful storyteller and a lover of music and the outdoors. He is remembered for his gentle nature and compassion for all living things. He welcomed everyone he met with a ready smile and kind words.
He is survived by his sister and two brothers, his son and daughter-in-law, five daughters and five sons-in-laws, thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vantheav Tan, who passed on October 21, 2025.
Bann will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held on January 11, 2026 from 9-11 with lunch served after at Haisley Funeral Home, 3015 Okeechobee Rd, Ft. Pierce, FL 34947
