Obituary of Barbara Jean Ausburn
Barbara Jean Dearson Ausburn, 90, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023.
She was born March 4, 1933 in Priddy, Texas to Walter and Esta Bell Dyches Dearson. She loved gardening and working in the yard. After her family, her favorite things were daffodils and butterflies.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, and their daughter, Terrie Lenore.
She is survived by her son, Jayson Dana Ausburn and his wife, Delane; her daughter, Paula Jean Berger and her husband, Albert; her stepson, Scott Carson Ausburn and his wife, Wanda; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral Service: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Blvd.
Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Two of my favorite memories with my second mom when my children were very young and on her birthday. The world has lost an amazing person and She will be mossed by my entire family. Always ready to lend a hand and ear. Biggest heart of anyone ai have ever known.

I love you. You were a second mother to me, and a wonderful Nnama to my boys. No one will ever replace you.y heart is broken. I love you more than any words could ever convey. I will treasure all of our memories. I love and miss you. Thank you for reaching me how to be a better wife and mother with your gentle, patient way. Thank you for loving us. You had a heart of gold. You never scoldede. Not once. You taught with kindness and love. May you meet your creator and be greeted with all you earned here in this world. I love you.
