Barbara Ann Barnhill was born on August 16, 1938 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Everett Carol Morris and Miriam O'Neal Ellis Callens.
On December 21, 1957, she was united in marriage to Dan William Barnhill. She loved her husband dearly and they were married for 63 years when Dan preceded his wife in death on October 12, 2021.
Barbara was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church and loved reading her Bible and going to church. She taught herself several different crafts, including sewing, painting, and needlework. She loved to take care of her family and always spoiled her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Barbara Ann Barnhill departed this life on September 12, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 87 years and 27 days.
She is survived by her sons, Keith Barnhill (Fay), Alan Douglas Barnhill (Bridget), and Chris Barnhill (Teresa); sisters, Tommie Cromwell and Carolyn Schoft; grandchildren, Amanda Terry (Tim), John Barnhill, Julie Orth (Ryan), Sarah Franks (Elliott), Christina Cotner, Andrew Barnhill (Alex), and Hunter Abrams; and great grandchildren, Carter Jackson, Gracie Jackson, Laney Franks, Abram Franks, Olive Franks, Camden Bonee, and Landon Cotner.
In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by her stepfather, Douglas Red Callens.
