Barbara Ellen "Hall" Pitts

Mrs. Barbara Ellen (Hall) Pitts of Savannah, Tennessee formerly of Harrisburg was born on February 22, 1954 and departed this life on March 9, 2026 at the age of 72. Barbara was the daughter of William Luther and Eva Viola (Story) Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, John Pitts, two brothers: James Hall and Gerald Hall, and four sisters: Pauline Bailey, Irene Hall, Aline Conkin, Annie Kirby, and one grandchild, Montana Shubert.

She was a 1971 graduate of Harrisburg High School. Barbara loved working in cake decoration and worked 12 years at Jordan's as a cook. She enjoyed reading, collecting Coke souvenirs, watching television especially Criminal Minds. Barbara enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Barbara is survived by four sons: Matthew (Autumn) Pitts of Alton, Missouri, Jimmie Pitts Jr. of Greenwood, Mississippi, Jerry (Judith) Pitts and Jason (Sabriskia) Pitts both of Savannah, Tennessee, four daughters: Aimee Wallace of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Jennifer Floyd of Savannah, Tennessee, Krystal (Patrick) Peppers also of Harrisburg, Jocelyn (Troyce) Pitts of Jackson, Tennessee, one brother, Robert (Lorene) Hall of Harrisburg, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday~ March 12, 2026 at Jackson's Funeral Home in Harrisburg beginning at 6:00 until 8:00 P. M. Funeral Service will be Friday, March 13 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel. Interment will be at Holly Springs Cemetery. Active Pallbearers are: Patrick Peppers Sr., James Floyd III, Mark Hall, Johnny Kirby, Patrick Peppers Jr. and Travis Cotton. Honorary Pallbearers: Jerry Pitts, Carl Weston Wallace, and Ralph Crawford. Arrangements are by Jackson's Harrisburg Funeral Home.
