Mr. Barry Lee Massengill, 65 of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life Wednesday ~ December 10, 2025 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Barry was born January 31, 1960 in Harrisburg, Arkansas the son of Dean and Lorene (Tate) Massengill and they have preceded him in death. Also preceded in death was his brother, Randy Massengill on December 28, 2010. Barry married Donna Mead in 1978 and they have enjoyed 47 years of marriage. He was a lifelong farmer on the Massengill Farms. Barry enjoyed horse shows, showing horses, shooting pool, hunting, and visiting with family and friends. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrisburg. Barry graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1978 and later in life served many years on the Harrisburg School Board. Barry is survived by his wife, Donna Massengill of the home in Harrisburg, son, Luke and wife Tiffany Massengill of Harrisburg, daughter, Michele and husband Bradley Wallace of Lake City, Arkansas, one brother, Gaylon and wife Janet Massengill also of Harrisburg, four grandchildren: Kate Wallace, Miller Wallace, Sam Massengill, Emma and husband Jax Whitley, one great grandchild, Stetson Whitley, and a life-long friend as a brother, Steve Easton. Visitation will be Saturday ~ December 13, 2025 at Jackson's Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg from 11:00 until 1:00 P. M. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 P. M. with Bro. Chance Watson conducting the service. Memorials may be made to the Harrisburg Fire Department, 200 East Jackson, Harrisburg, AR 72432 or to Drover Cowboy Church, 17678 Peck Road, Harrisburg, AR 72432. Interment will be in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Jackson's Funeral Home.
