Age 77, passed away peacefully Saturday January 24, 2025 at Lightways Hospice Home.
Preceded in death by granddaughter Mellissa Brandt; parents Anthony L. and Marion J. (Klenz) Banks; one sister Geraldine Banks.
Survived by her daughters Diana (Jim) Brandt, Jeanne (Richard) Webber, Theresa Bartels and Carrie (Jesse Merideth) Stirratt; two brothers Gerald A. (Teresa) Banks and Larry D. (Dawn) Banks. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive, along with her furry companion Milo.
Born in Joliet, a resident of Peotone and Joliet. Barbara retired from Christian Brothers Services. She loved spending time with family and friends, enjoyed gardening, dancing and the Holidays.
Visitation Saturday January 31, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at 10:30 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Interment St. Mary Nativity Cemetery.
