Barbara Jean Bebee, 89, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, was born on September 11, 1935, to Ross and Evelyn (Wickman) Burnett in Napa Vine, Washington. She entered Heaven's gates on Friday, January 31, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Barbara was a devoted member of the Chandler Road Church of Christ, where she found joy in welcoming all who entered its doors and participating in the Ladies Bible Class. Her faith extended beyond the church walls as she frequently visited residents in nursing homes, offering them comfort and companionship.
An avid doll collector with a talent for restoration, Barbara also excelled in needlepoint, crochet, quilting, and gardening. She found happiness in horseback riding and raising peacocks and chickens. Above all else, Barbara cherished time spent with her family, which brought her the greatest fulfillment.
Barbara leaves behind a legacy of service and unconditional love that will continue to inspire those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to all whose lives she touched.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Lewis James Lashley and John B. Bebee; her sons, Mickey Lewis Lashley and Chris D. Lashley.
Those left to cherish Barbara's memory are her sons, Larry James Lashley and wife Bridgett of Bloomington, Minnesota, Kenny Ross Lashley and wife Mona of
Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, and R. Jeffrey Lashley and wife Donna of Muskogee, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Patrick Lashley and wife Katie, Evelyn Lashley and Ben, Ross Lashley and wife Kelsey, Kyle Lashley and wife Sanya, Trey Lashley and wife Bailey, Lacey Lashley and husband Brandon, and Dakota Lashley; great grandchildren, Emma Kathryn and Sara Elizabeth Lashley of Bloomington, Minnesota, Luke William and Blake Michelle Lashley of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Isaac Lewis and Mia Jane Lashley of Fort Gibson, and Lyla Bree Blevins of Muskogee, Oklahoma; step children, Vicki Spencer, Teresa Ford and husband Larry, Johnny Bebee, and Susan Applegate and husband Billy all of Muskogee; extended family; and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial contributions be made in Barbara's name to Burnt Cabin Christian Camp at PO Box 787

A celebration of Barbara's life will be 10AM, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Fort Gibson Church of Christ with Minister Don Cherry officiating.
