Barbara J. "Bubba" Beistel, 87, of Irwin, passed away on Thursday October 30, 2025. She was born June 5, 1938 in Lash, the oldest daughter of the late Steve and Pauline (Czarnowski) Angelcyk. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James L. Beistel "Cowboy", her sister Clara "Sis" (Paul) Shychuk, brother Stanley "Sonny" (Mary Frances) Angelcyk, and nephew P.J. Shychuk. Prior to her retirement she worked in the produce department at Giant Eagle, and enjoyed word search books, polka music, cooking, and baking. Barbara is survived by her children Kristin (Glen) Schade of North Huntingdon, James "Butch" (Terri) Smith of Lake Worth, FL, Joseph M. (Patty) Smith of North Huntingdon; granddaughters Addison Schade and Courtney Schade; nieces and nephews Catherine (Tim) Catalina, Lisa Shychuk, Chrissy (Todd) Ramaley, and Steve Angelcyk; great nieces and nephews; and many close friends. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 521 Main Street, Irwin, 724-863-1200. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday November 3, 2025, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in West Newton Cemetery.
