Barbara Blosser Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home - New Lexington on Sep. 4, 2025.
Barbara J Blosser who was born on January 26, 1955, to Ernest and Marlene Corp, went to be with the Lord September 3, 2025. Born and raised with a spirit full of warmth and kindness, she devoted her life to her family and to finding joy in simple things.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William "Bill" Blosser, her son William "Bubba" Corp, two grandchildren, Aden Ruff and Evan Dodson, her parents Ernest and Marlene Corp, her brother and his wife, Donald and Sandra Corp and her lifelong best friend she loved like a sister, Lillian Hammers.

She is survived by her children, Lori White, Amy Grant, and Thomas (Bobbie) Ruff, her grandchildren, Charlotte Corp, Marlene Carroll, Jacob Payne, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Marie and Hunter Chiki: her great-grandchildren; Westin, Paislynn and Raelynn Carroll, Dakota and Kinsley Payne, and Tatum and Lainey Wisecarver: her best friend Melissa Corp, as well as her nieces, nephews, and all those she adopted as her own. Her family and friends will honor her legacy with laughter and love.

Barbara had a gift for creating comfort wherever she went. She found peace and creativity in quilting, stitching together pieces that told stories of family, memories, and love. She enjoyed the quiet challenge of crossword puzzles and word searches and loved making up new rules to all her favorite games whenever she was losing. Her family remembers her as a woman of resilience, humor and gentle love. She believed in celebrating life in every season and in all its colors, so in her honor, the family asks those attending services to wear bright colors and cheerful patterns in lieu of black.

Calling hours will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am with a celebration of life service at 11:00am on Saturday, September 6, 2025 with Reverend Mary Perani officiating at the Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio.

Barbara's family and friends extend heartfelt gratitude to all of those who have supported them during this time
