Barbara Ruth (Thompson) (Bruno) Boettler, age 84, transitioned to her eternal heavenly address on April 12, 2025. She was born on January 11, 1941 in Pasaic, New Jersey to the late Robert M. and Marion C. (Gibson) Thompson. Barbara worked as a driver license examiner for the State of Ohio. Barbara will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and loving nature.
Barbara is survived by her daughters Barbara Bruno Jr., Laura (Gilbert) Castillo, Sharon (John) Phillips; brother David (Mary Ann) Thompson, sister Patricia (Mark) Minnick; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband David Boettler, her twin infant brother John Albert Thompson, her sons Donald Bruno Jr., and William Bruno, and her great-grandson Malakaj Castillo.
Family and friends are welcome to the graveside service held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Sunset Hills Burial Park Chapel (5001 Everhard Rd. NW, Canton, OH 44718).
