Barbara A. Bollins

Barbara A Bollins, 79, of Manchester, adored wife of 50 years and best friend to her husband George Bollins passed peacefully from the hands of her Guardian Angel, the Blessed Mother, into God's Kingdom on Sep. 29th. Born in Brooklyn, NY on Aug. 3,1943, to the late James V and Eva (Caraccia) Mistretta, Barbara is predeceased by her brothers James and Stephen Mistretta of Forest, VA and survived by her sister and brother-in-law Mary and Merle Shaw of Coventry, sisters-in-law Renata and Sylvia Mistretta of Forest, VA, and brother and sister-in-law Roger and Dolores Bollins of Stow, Ohio. Barbara was a devoted and loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Her guidance, kindness and generosity knew no bounds. She will be deeply missed by her 4 daughters, Elizabeth Ross, Christine Dumond and her husband Randy, Andrea Rataic and her husband Christopher, and Barbara Pitruzzello and her husband Michael, her 5 beloved grandchildren, Samantha, Jacqueline, Sophia, Nicholas and Mia, her great grandson, Owen and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be at Tierney Funeral Home in Manchester from 4-7 on Tuesday October 4. A private burial will take place on Wednesday.
