Barbara enjoyed a long and dedicated career in education. She graduated from Garden State Academy in Tranquility, New Jersey, received a degree in accounting education from Washington Adventist University, and later earned an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Barbara's career focused on education and accounting for more than forty years. She taught in the Philippines; at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania; Sussex County Community College in New Jersey; and Rutgers University.
Barbara was a longtime member of the Tranquility Seventh-day Adventist Church in Tranquility, New Jersey.
Cremation was private. Interment will take place at Tranquility Cemetery, Tranquility, New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Washington Adventist University, Takoma Park, Maryland.
